Mukesh Kumar is a passionate advocate for youth development through sport and storytelling. Having grown up playing cricket and badminton, Mukesh was introduced to tennis as an adult after moving to the U.S.—an experience that deepened his appreciation for the role of access in shaping opportunity. He believes strongly in the ability of sports to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging, particularly for kids from underserved communities.

Mukesh is a seasoned business executive and award-winning filmmaker whose work often explores themes of identity, equity, and mental health. His films have been recognized by organizations such as Tasveer and supported by the Netflix Film Fund. Professionally, he has spent two decades leading global teams in the technology and consulting sectors, with a focus on innovation and impact.

As a member of the Empower Tennis Foundation advisory board, Mukesh brings a unique blend of strategic insight, creative vision, and personal commitment to expanding equitable access to sport.

Smeeta Hirani is a seasoned technology leader based in Seattle, with over two decades of experience across global companies including Motorola, Nortel Networks, T-Mobile, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). With a foundation in electrical engineering and an MBA, she has led initiatives in marketing, business development, and strategic partnerships, driving innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies. Beyond her corporate career, Smeeta is a certified yoga teacher and holistic Ayurveda health coach, deeply committed to advancing social equity and advocating for underrepresented communities, women in STEM, and Central Asian refugees through mentorship and career coaching. She has served on the boards of organizations such as API Chaya, WETEC Kenya, Saheli Pune, and Tasveer.

A passionate advocate for equity, access, and the transformative power of sport, Smeeta is proud to support EmpowerTennis in its mission to democratize the game and make it more inclusive and affordable for all. Her North Star has always been service — from mentoring youth and supporting global health causes to fundraising for cancer research and promoting holistic wellness. Smeeta brings a unique blend of leadership, compassion, and purpose to every endeavor she joins.

Ashish Keshwani is a Seattle-based Program Manager in the tech industry and a passionate Lifestyle, Event, and Fashion Photographer working under the name AksPosure (a name inspired by Aks meaning reflection and exposure). Ashish thrives on learning and supporting organizations that empower and uplift communities, whether it’s mastering new technology or capturing meaningful moments through his lens. With a strong growth mindset, Ashish is driven by a deep desire to support and uplift communities. Ashish has been actively contributing to several causes here in WA including being part of the board at AmPowering, a Washington-based non-profit focused on empowerment and servicing communities. His decision to join the Empower Tennis Foundation stems from a shared mission, creating inclusive access to opportunities, especially for youth and underrepresented communities.

Ashish believes in giving back not only through skills and service, but also through learning. Every individual and every act of service teaches you something about resilience, humanity, and yourself. He brings to the board a unique blend of strategic thinking, community-driven spirit, and an unwavering belief in the power of people.
